Sandbridge Beach in Virginia Beach
Fun & Relaxation on Virginia's Outer Banks
Sanbridge is framed by the Atlantic to the east, and North Bay and Shipps Bay to the west – overall known as Virginia's Outer Banks. Found 15 miles south of Virginia Beach’s resort area, this is a more secluded escape from the crowds and boardwalks of its northern neighbors.
Visitors to Sandbridge Beach are met with hours of sunbathing, surfing, and some sandy horseplay.
During your time at Sandbridge Beach, check out points of interest such as Little Island City Park and its Sandbridge Pier, and the of course the Sandbridge Market. The beach is also north of the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park – both home to some great recreation like kayaking, hiking, and fishing.
