Presented by Pungo Off Road, teams present four shows on the unique beach course, and, new for 2014, teams square off representing North and South.
The McDonald’s 2015 North American Sand Soccer Championships hit Virginia Beach June 5th through 7th. The 2014 NASSC events expand to include 15 teams, adding to the excitement and competition. Watch the excitement on the sand as youth, adult amateur, and Pro/Am teams compete for top honors.
Celebrate the Norfolk waterfront at the 39th Annual AT&T Norfolk Harborfest in downtown Norfolk, June 5th through 7th. Held at Town Point Park, this year’s Harborfest launches with the Harborfest Parade of Sail at noon on the 5th featuring tall ships, antique and classic wooden boats, and military vessels. Stake out a spot along the Elizabeth River to witness the spectacular Harborfest Parade of Sail.
Make a return visit to Norfolk’s Town Point Park on the downtown waterfront to celebrate the Fourth of July. The 33rd Annual AT&T Fourth of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks is a festive Independence Day celebration featuring a picnic of all American fare, and music from the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command Band. A massive fireworks display caps off the evening, iluminating the sky above norfolk and reflecting on the water below.
